Tourism Exchange Great Britain (TXGB) is a transformative B2B digital platform, connecting the entire tourism ecosystem and working in partnership with VisitBritain, VisitEngland, Visit Wales and Tourism Northern Ireland. Our platform takes all types of tourism products to new audiences via a diverse and expanding network of distribution channels. And it acts as a central exchange for tourism businesses to manage ‘live’ availability and prices, reach new customers and drive sales, while also enabling distributors and destinations the opportunity to tap into an exciting range of tourism products
The journey so far
Since our launch in 2019 we’ve rapidly grown the number of users of the platform, across all parts of the sector.
For example, we’re working with over 100 regional and local destinations (or DMOs) – helping honeypots and hidden gems alike to attract new audiences, extend visitor stays and expand their bookable inventory. And with many major ticketing and PMS systems already integrated – and more in the pipeline – we are the leading marketplace to bring attractions, accommodations, events and experiences. The success of our ongoing mission to make Britain and Northern Ireland bookable is tribute to our team, our platform, our partners and the amazing tourism sector here in the UK.
