TXGB expands its team

Wednesday September 9, 2020

TXGB is delighted to announce that its team is expanding with the addition of two experienced tourism professionals, Ben Jolly and Aisha Brannan-Grossett who have recently joined.

As Senior Connectivity & Product Manager, Ben will be working closely with the development team and key partners to drive improvements to the product – helping to assess, prioritise, test and release new connections and features.

He has spent his whole career in the tourism sector, and has particular expertise in connectivity, eCommerce and distribution – and combines this deep knowledge and experience of travel with a degree in computer science. The perfect blend of skills to drive our product forward, with particular expertise in connectivity.

As Senior Marketing & Partnership Manager, Aisha comes to TXGB with a wealth of knowledge in tourism and marketing, having worked in several senior roles within the private and public sector. Most recently she was the interim Tourism Manager at Enjoy Tees Valley. Her understanding of TXGB; the value it can deliver for destinations, the way it can enable local businesses, and the impact it will have on our economy, really stood out to the TXGB team.

With the high volume of destinations and niche booking channels joining TXGB in the last 3-6 months, Aisha joins the team to strengthen our relations in this area and take supplier adoption to the next level, developing long-term key partnerships to maximise the ongoing growth of the marketplace.

James Berzins, TXGB Director, says “We’re delighted to welcome Ben and Aisha to the team – building on TXGB’s expertise from across the public and private sector, within travel, tourism and technology. At a time when helping the UK tourism industry take steps to recovery is top of mind for VisitEngland and TXGB, strengthening our partnership marketing and product management effort is a key part of our commitment to supporting the UK industry in the months ahead. Ben and Aisha will be central to this activity, and we welcome the industry insight and technical skills they bring to the team”.
