Be part of TXGB’s new connected community
We’ve taken our technology to the next level by creating the new TXGB Community app – a ‘first for the tourism landscape’.
This platform will enable groups and their members to collaborate on a whole new level by sharing peer-to-peer advice, ideas and insights.
Prior to launch we’ve been working with a small group of established partners to understand how TXGB’s connectivity can best facilitate these all-important conversations and learnings.
The concept has been developed alongside VisitEngland, Visit Wales and Destination North East and is hugely exciting for everyone involved.
Not least because it represents the opportunity to drive true industry transformation that will change the way we work and collaborate.
‘Our vision for the UK visitor economy is to create a smart connected ecosystem, and we feel that establishing an active online community is key to this becoming a reality.’ says TXGB Managing Director, James Berzins.
‘We want to encourage businesses to transact in many different ways – using TXGB as a central exchange that enables a more connected, collaborative environment that will, ultimately, drive productivity and accelerate growth.
‘We recognise, however, that the TXGB Community will only be as strong as those in it: a community of communities, so to speak.
‘Our hope is that this new, knowledge sharing capability helps create a kaleidoscope of discussions that brings all facets of the industry together in an open, inclusive and inspirational arena.’
Fuelling conversation
Accessible via web or mobile app, this platform will give a whole range of audiences across the sector, including destinations, trade bodies and marketing groups, the ability to foster deeper engagement and solid representation.
The information sharing aspect will also make it easier to provide important updates, distribute ‘bitesize’ educational content and to conduct polls with specific user groups.
What’s more, participants are invited to fuel and be part of hundreds of conversations between businesses of all shapes and sizes, which will lead to mutually beneficial relationships that can only reinforce our collective power.
