A recommendation from their DMO gave Adventure Valley a wealth of new opportunities.
Adventure Valley is one of the largest family fun and activity parks in the north east, situated in several acres of farmland not far from Durham. Owner Janine Calzini and her team manage this popular rural attraction that sees continual reinvestment to keep its offerings fresh and exciting.
Despite Adventure Valley’s popularity with existing customers, a recommendation from local DMO Visit Durham provided a further boost. They highlighted the fact via Adventure Valley’s existing booking technology provider, they could easily connect to TXGB to unlock a wealth of opportunities.
The National Lottery Days Out scheme, run in partnership with the VisitBritain Shop and TXGB in 2022 and 2023, is an example of the many exclusive regional and national campaigns that the TXGB connection has enabled.
And with new promotional opportunities being made available on a regular basis, Adventure Valley is sure to enjoy higher sales and record-breaking periods.

We saw a rise of 32 percent in our visitor numbers, with March 2022 being our busiest on record, because of this national opportunity. I would recommend both connecting to TXGB and taking part in the National Lottery Campaign – it has improved our business and driven new and repeat customers to visit Adventure Valley.“
