When the DMO for Brighton and Hove launched their new website, they knew exactly what was needed to drive more bookings.

It provides a great base for exploring the city and its exciting blend of modern culture, exotic architecture, sea and countryside. VisitBrighton is the official destination marketing organisation for the city and wider local area, promoting it as a leisure and business destination for domestic and international visitors, working in partnership with approximately 350 tourism
With a newly launched website incorporating bookable products, VisitBrighton was keen to increase the number of businesses it worked with in broadening its offering. Thanks to TXGB, the DMO was able to initiate conversations with new organisations, particularly those based outside the city centre.
“Our target market is interested in memorable experiences, so working with TXGB and being able to offer a wide variety of bookable options helps us to connect with this key demographic.“

Return on investment
Connecting to TXGB enabled Visit Brighton to offer additional benefits to their partners and made it easier for website visitors to move from looking to booking.
In the first five months after launching, the site had seen almost 80 direct bookings with a total value of nearly £3,000.
With more than 20 businesses already using TXGB to sell products via VisitBrighton.com, the increases in web traffic and pageviews are translating into financial returns for the city’s visitor economy.
