New connections secured at critical industry turning point

Hot on the heels of announcing new connections with Google Hotel and Air bnb on the accommodation side, we’re excited to have secured four more partnerships further advancing TXGB’s reach in the ‘live’ events, attractions, activities, arts and experiences sphere.

With Spektrix, Ticketing Hub, Web Ticketing Manager and Vennersys now all fully integrated, an ever expanding range of bookable British tourism product can benefit from the unique opportunities the platform delivers. Enriching England’s experience-scape, bolstering the visitor economy and showing TXGB’s true potential to bring all parts of the industry together.

Following a bumper start to the high season with £1.8bn visitor spend during the first restriction-free Easter since 2019, bringing these technologies on-board is another boost for the sector’s recovery. Allowing everything from museums, aquariums, zoos and festivals, through to food and drink tours, city walks and water-based activities already using these key booking systems to boost their marketing efforts. By tapping into TXGB’s technology – enabling the sharing of live availability and pricing – these businesses can reduce admin stress, uplift sales and gain access to an unprecedented mix of distribution channels.

Spektrix is a particularly significant TXGB addition at this critical turning point, as theatres welcome back bigger audiences – giving them more visibility to fill venues and allowing destinations to become distributors of cultural entertainment on their doorstep. Similarly, as sport enthusiasts get back to following their passion in person, TXGB’s recently announced partnership with the World Snooker Tournament (WST) is another example of how the platform can help all types of tourism businesses benefit from high profile events in their locality.

On the back of the success of TXGB’s tie-in with Rugby League World Cup in 2021, the Visit Britain backed solution’s support of the championship presented accommodation and experiences across the towns and cities the tour visited a lucrative window of opportunity to load their inventory, generate bookings among the fan base and, crucially, analyse sales data.

Initiatives like the WST showcase TXGB’s unique ability to connect Britain’s rich tourism landscape and we’re proud of our ever growing pipeline of technology vendors and strategic partnerships. With a total six new integrations on-boarded, in just a matter of weeks, momentum is gaining as domestic tourism thrives once again and we can’t wait to share more.
