Teamworks fast-tracks bookings by building connection to TXGB

TeamWorks go karting

We’re thrilled to announce that indoor karting and entertainment concept, Teamworks, is the latest activities business to connect to the TXGB platform.

With five venues across the Midlands – also incorporating laser tag, F1 simulators, cafes and bars – this high-speed attraction is fast-tracking bookings by building a connection to TXGB’s technology.

This allows Teamworks to automate and share live availability, while tapping into a wider range of regional and national distribution channels.

Billed as a ‘day out’ for friends, families and colleagues, Teamworks has a broad demographic of target audiences to reach.

Signing-up to TXGB means the company can effortlessly boost its digital marketing efforts and gain visibility of the best performing connections.

More market traction

With multi-activity complexes across Birmingham, the East Midlands, Letchworth and Northampton, the opportunity to plug into and establish direct bookability with the relevant destination sites was a priority for the marketing team – headed up by Marketing Director, Joanna Quin.

‘We connected to TXGB to enable us to promote our live availability across multiple distributors.’, says Joanna.

‘In an increasingly digital world, we felt that it was important to be able to get more traction in markets that our traditional marketing may not have reached.’

TXGB’s straightforward set-up means that Teamworks is ready to maximise the first school holidays of the year and is in pole position for the 2023 peak season.

Despite managing multiple locations and all the feature-rich benefits of a bespoke system, the connection to TXGB has removed some of the associated complexity and fragmentation that traditional booking platforms often experience.

Year-round opportunities

It’s now easy for Teamworks to share real-time availability across multiple channels and partner seamlessly with the national tourist board’s Shop and various destinations.

Now, having built the connection and opted into the Visit Britain Shop – alongside regional destination organisations including Visit Nottinghamshire, Visit Birmingham and Shakespeare’s England – Teamworks can capitalise on the year-round opportunities that come with being an indoor attraction.

This means it will stay just as front-of-mind with local visitors, as it will holidaymakers.

What’s more, TXGB technology also enables the group to trial niche, more experimental avenues.

For example, featuring on influential blog ‘Big Family Little Adventures’ and being promoted on the new, consumer-facing platform ‘LovetoVisit.com’.
