TXUSA – new US tourism exchange follows TXGB example

Wednesday August 17, 2022

V3 and Miles Partnership establish new stateside tourism exchange.

A new tourism exchange has launched in the US, following in the footsteps of Tourism Exchange Great Britain (TXGB) and the successful partnership it has formed with UK Government

The new system will utilise the same underlying technology that has been proven in the UK and was originally created by our partner V3, an Australian technology company.

The aim is to emulate the trailblazing example set by TXGB, connecting visitor attractions, tours, accommodation providers, DMOs and technology providers.

By providing a single central hub for all these sectors of the US tourism industry, TXUSA will strengthen their position in an increasingly competitive digital marketplace.

Ground-breaking

Shane Crockett, CEO of V3 said:

‘We’re excited to begin our journey in rolling out our ground-breaking tourism exchange platform across all of the USA and its tourism markets.’

Commenting on the news of the US launch, TXGB MD James Berzins said:

‘When we established TXGB in the UK we knew we were leading the way for other territories around the world. We could see the impact the platform had made in Australia and believed we could prove how the concept should be expanded globally.

‘With the platform launching in the US, this is a clear sign that we have the solution to the critical problem of fragmentation within the tourism sector. TX holds the key to breaking down silos and unleashing the power of digital, data and technology to drive sustainable growth – and in our current context, recovery).

‘Our solution increases the value, volume and dispersal of tourism, enables the development of smarter destinations and brings the sector together in a way that fits the needs of the modern consumer.’
