Its establishments include Dobson & Parnell on the vibrant quayside, Hinnies Restaurant in Whitley Bay and Blackfriars Restaurant and Banquet Hall, believed to be the UK’s oldest purpose built dining room.

Hooked-on Group’s team wanted to highlight its unique culinary experience offering to new and diverse audiences looking for more than just a meal out.

With a cookery school, tasting room and numerous event space opportunities to promote, it was clear a sophisticated digital solution was required.








We’re able to connect with a wider audience through TXGB, it’s so easy just to log into the platform and see a list of all of the different options on there.

You can just opt-in and it pulls through the live availability onto these different sites, giving us – as a small business – a more level playing field with some of the larger distribution channels.

Since connecting both Dobson & Parnell and Blackfriars to TXGB, Hooked-on Group has been able to take part in several successful campaigns, including:

And because Hooked-on Group’s venues and experiences are popular with medieval history enthusiasts as well as foodies, they’re finding new fans.

TXGB has enabled them to reach these fresh audiences via a connection to local destination NewcastleGateshead Initiative, which is proactive in driving campaigns that raise awareness of the area.
