Join us for our first ‘Fireside Chat’

Tuesday March 14, 2023

A warm welcome awaits The Tourism Network’s Susan Briggs and NewcastleGateshead Initiative’s (NGI) Ian Thomas as we launch our new virtual ‘Fireside Chat’ series this month.

The first episode airs on Wed 22 March, 13.30-14.00, taking place during English Tourism Week (17-26 March).

Tune in to the LinkedIn Event as TXGB’s James Berzins explores how the ‘experiences’ landscape is evolving with our expert line-up.

We will be digging into the key trends dominating the UK’s domestic tourism scene and how, together, we can drive deeper connections to meet the consumer on their terms.

As the ‘fireside chat’ format suggests, we’re walking away from a corporate webinar presentation in favour of a more relaxed set-up, which we’re sure will spark an open, lively and inspiring conversation.

By inviting thought leaders from across the industry to participate – as both panellists and attendees – we hope to generate actionable insight that can truly benefit our community.

We’ll also be looking to bring the new ‘Experiencescape’ to life in style, as we visit impressive venues and incorporate some novel activities along the way.

In this episode we start with Kala King’s Chocolate workshop, getting our speakers into a gloriously sticky situation after a quick visit to the sumptuous Aldwark Manor Estate.

There’ll be more interesting places and escapades featured as the series builds in the months to come, so be sure to come back for the next episode!
