Devil’s Bridge Falls

Devil’s Bridge Falls is a world-famous attraction in Wales that has inspired the writing of William Wordsworth and attracted thousands of visitors for over a century.

This stunning tourist experience comprises a fascinating nature trail, three stunning ‘stacked’ bridges and a spectacular cascading 300ft waterfall.

For a small entrance fee, visitors can enjoy woodland walks that take in views of the Cambrian Mountains and Rheidol River, with plenty of opportunities to marvel at the wonders of the Welsh countryside and wildlife.

But when it came time to change their booking and ticketing system, due to their old setup no longer being available, the Devil’s Bridge Falls Team decided to upgrade every aspect of their digital customer experience.

The adoption of the TXGB platform resulted from an introduction by Mid Wales Tourism, who were able to recommend and direct them towards the simple setup process.

Efficiency and opportunity

Following the connection to TXGB, it was much easier for the Devil’s Bridge Falls team to track bookings and manage visitor numbers, as well as provide customer updates in real-time.

It also enabled, from a single, easy-to-use dashboard:

  • Accurate analytics and reporting, with ease of comparison between sales periods
  • The opportunity to be featured on the Mid Wales Tourism website – and to sell tickets there
  • Becoming bookable on the Devil’s Bridge Falls site

But the most exciting possibility unlocked by the TXGB relationship, following the initial link with Mid-Wales Tourism, has been the variety of potential new sales channels where visitors can now purchase tickets to Devil’s Bridge Falls.

The platform is really useful – I can log on to it easily and see what tickets have been sold on certain days.

And if, for instance, there’s a weather warning – I can block off those days.

I’m really pleased we’re using TXGB – it’s been so easy to set up and I would recommend it to any business.
