Fairytale Farm

Fairytale Farm in Oxfordshire is a family-friendly attraction dedicated to creating magical experiences for visitors of all ages.

It opened in Chipping Norton in 2013, as England’s first visitor experience open to all but designed around the needs of children with disabilities.

Welcoming almost 90,000 visitors annually, the attraction’s key audience is parents and grandparents of young children under 10.

With a limited marketing budget and smaller team, Fairytale Farm needed to unlock more accurate customer insights and new sales channels.

 


 

TXGB has given us straightforward access to other booking channels, bringing us additional business, while being simple for our existing team to operate.

This is important for smaller tourism businesses that don’t have large marketing budgets or expertise – I’d thoroughly recommend it.

New awareness

The TXGB connection also meant Fairytale Farm could feature on local tourism sites like Cotswold Tourism, Experience Oxfordshire and Tourism South East.

And they could also opt-in to sales channels like Love to Visit and the VisitBritain Shop, to complement their existing online ticketing operated by Digitickets.

The single biggest impact enabled by TXGB so far has been Fairytale Farm’s participation in the National Lottery Days Out campaign, run in conjunction with the VisitBritain Shop.

This promotion drew in extra visitors, particularly from further afield, thanks to visibility in front of audiences who otherwise wouldn’t have been aware of them.

With a comprehensive offering including day tickets and seasonal events, Fairytale Farm creates magical experiences for visitors of all ages.

And thanks to a partnership with TXGB, this engaging and enjoyable experience is being discovered and talked about by new people every day.
