Owner Kala King welcomes guests into the development kitchen, at her home in the picturesque village of Alne, just outside York.

Many of Kala King’s guests come from further away than Yorkshire, to learn specific new skills such as tempering or making ganache, or for seasonal workshops at Easter, Christmas and Halloween.
